Late? What do you mean, 'late'? Use the arrows to move through the drawings of Quail as a wolf, a human, and the Hat-monster-thing.
Quail Male wolf Quail, despite being the firstborn of his litter, was also the runt. He and his siblings learnt to hunt with their claws and fangs from a very young age, but he was never as good at it as the others. As the firstborn of his mother, who was herself firstborn, it his duty to carry the Hat, which has been passed down through many generations. However, this Hat is enchanted, and some of his siblings consider him a coward and not worthy of bearing its power. The Hat gives its wearer shapeshifting powers, and so Quail has three forms – his wolf form, his human form, and the form of a strange wolf-like monster. He is most comfortable in the wolf form, and would be that without the hat, but he doesn’t mind transforming into a human. The human form is particularly useful for hunting, since the range allowed by his bow and arrows, only usable with opposable thumbs, gives him an advantage over his siblings. However, while those forms are both him, the monster form is almost a separate entity, the Hat taking over and changing his body and mind. He has not yet learnt how to control that, and on one occasion it nearly lost him his life. When he first tried to use that form, the monster overwhelmed him, and he nearly destroyed a nearby village. The villagers, thinking him to be a demon, tried to kill him. When he finally managed to turn back into a helpless pup, his eye was stabbed and he was cut before being trapped in a cage. He managed to turn into his human form and pick the lock and escape, but his eye never healed. I couldn't decide between human Quail and drawing the hat as its own entity, so Quail gets two powers I guess. Art by me, drawn by hand (the arrows were made on Paint 3D). Character by @-cafecat-
