31/12/22 hihi my unipups + fellow hoomans !! a happy new year to you all !! may god bless you and your families and let's hope next year is just as good as this year !! i just want to talk abt what i thought abt this year, my favourite experiences and least favourite experiences, some irl and some here on scratch. so let's begin !! - - - 01/01/23 1. changing to an aesthetic scratcher believe it or not, i did not start off as an aes scratcher. i was originally non-aes and stuff, but i started liking aesthetics and wanted to try, so i tried out canva (this was in jan i think). i entered a couple of bc's, won in 2 and started liking aesthetics. around that time, i already had 800 followers. then i got my first aes follower (@tulipfrcggy's prev acc). i started enjoying making bnrs and stuff so i started making projects. a few months after, i experimented w/ pixlr and liked it more. i improved a lot from then and i'm glad i chose the aesthetic path on scratch <3 2. going to turkey in february, on some day, which i don't remember lol, i went to turkey w/ my family. since it was my holidays, we wanted to go out somewhere and one of my parents had gone out for a business trip to turkey and said it was really cool there so he decided to bring my family there for a 1 week holiday. i had sm fun, it was so cool and we got to learn abt the history and go to the famous mosques. we went to the capital, istanbul :D 3. meeting my friends on scratch soon after i became aesthetic, i started meeting people and made some awesome friends. all of my friendships w/ all of my friends have grown sm and i don't know where i'd be w/o them. ilyasm lomls <3 4. getting impersonated okay, so this is a memorable, but horrible time. so basically, someone w/ the user @Unipup-Queen565 was impersonating me around october and tricked some of my friends into believing it was me, but my friends realised their writing quirk was different to mine and just in general they were nth like me so they were like 'hmm... impersonator'. so like it got dealt w/ pretty fast and i'm glad that's over, but it's a memorable thing that happened to me this year :"D 5. getting good results in english and maths tests so basically we have tests in my skl (like obviously) and for the first maths test of the year, i got a high score in the 90% range and i was really happy bc of that and so were my parents / family. then in english i got an A for my creative writing and was the only person in my whole class to score an A in the test and i wasn't expecting to be the one to get the A and i was like 'whatttttttttt' and i felt like so happy, i can't even explain :DDDDDDDD 6. going to my home country so like i hadn't seen my close relatives for 10 years ever since i was a toddler bc my family moved to uk. then when i was a toddler, i visited my relatives w/ my family a few times but i didn't remember that. so like i didn't remember much abt my home country. so like then we visited in my end of the school year holidays to my home country and stayed for 2 months and i got to get rlly close w/ my relatives and it was just one of the best experiences of my life, that's rlly all i can say to describe it <3 7. reaching 1k and 2k all i can say is tysm, and you can probably understand why it's so memorable to me ✨✨ 8. my baby sister’s bday it was her first birthday in december, it was rlly memorable (not sharing too many details since it's personal) 9. secret santa i had a secret santa on scratch and 2 irl. i had sm fun and loved it sm !! i mean... who doesn't love secret santa's ?!?! 10. skl holidays + christmas + the new year my last day of skl was awesome and sm fun, and i have enjoyed my holidays sm. my skl started again in 4 days so my holidays are nearly over, but i enjoyed it while it lasted :"D christmas was sm fun and i got a new elf on the shelf so that's exciting (now i hv 3 lol). and then the new year which is today and yesterday. me and my family had such a memorable and fun new year yesterday. we might go to a restaurant today and set off some fireworks in the backyard when it gets a bit darker (my timezone is gmt btw). this was an amazing new year :D - - - now i just want to say my resolutions for this year (on scratch and irl) 1. try to eat less nutella 2. read more often 3. try to post twice a month on scratch 4. to reduce addiction to scratch 5. to have a happy year w/ as limited arguments irl w/ family and friends - - - and that's it for this project !! wishing you all a happy new year !! my next proj should be coming soon !! <3 signing off, - uni <3
