So By birthday was on December 30th and my parents brought me outside to give me my gift. There was one from my cousin, and one from my parents. My cousin got me a really cool art set and 2 sketchbooks, but that’s not important right now. So I play cello, like the string instrument, so I saw it wrapped in the shape of an instrument. I assumed it would be a new case, because my mom asked google and it suggested a case for my instrument. I thought that was a little bit weird bc I don’t think they make hard cases for a 3/4 size cello. As I was unwrapping it, I saw that it was, in fact a case for an instrument. But then I realized that it was too short to be for a cello. I thought to myself, well, that can’t be right. I opened it up, and inside, there was an entire guitar. (It’s broken at the bottom but we’re replacing it.) my dad knew I had been wanting to learn guitar, but I hadn’t even been talking about it for very long. I never would’ve even asked for a guitar, because that’s not something that parents just by for their child.
