EEEK I'm so strawberrying excited to be able to try this out! ANYWAYS, onto the review! I'll mostly be doing the review in this text box instead of in the screen on the side because I find it easier to read over here. I'll tell you when to tap your screen/click space so that you can visually see what I'm talking about. Alright, click the screen or space! This is the app logo thing for ibisPaint X. Okay. Are we done looking at it? Click space or your screen! Here is the home screen for ibisPaint X, and it looks kinda blue. Okay, maybe a lot of blue. Let's move on! Click space or your screen. Alright, here is the new canvas settings. You can do all these fancy things to the sizing and backround and stuff, but I just kept it basic. You can click space or your screen now. Okay, this is my test canvas. I used it to show you all the different brushes I used for today's artwork. I'm sure I missed a few, but these are the most common ones I used. Also, to the side you can see my tool bar with lots of fancy gadgets. Can you tell I'm new to this whole art program thing? Anyway, I like the variety of brushes and tools you can use. It's actually really helpful and not too overwhelming! Alright time for you to click space or your screen. I'm tired of saying- or, rather, typing that phrase. I'm just going to say "flag" whenever you have to move on and click your screen or space. On this next slide, you'll see the backround I chose to do. I did this sunset with mountains and clouds, I think it turned out pretty awesome. Maybe I'm biased. Anyway, I was really happy with how the gradient turned out because I'm used to Scratch, which you can't do an awesome gradient like this. Flag. Just so you know, I forgot to screenshot the sketching phase for my dragon so sorry about that! But, anyway, all I did for sketching was, well, sketch, and then turn down the opacity and make a new layer and draw the outline. Onto what this actually shows, I turned my backround i n v i s a b l e so that I could focus on drawing my mascot. She turned out pretty cool, if I do say so myself. I hadn't done any fancy shading at this point. Also, it took me waaaaay too long to figure out the bucket tool, so I hand coloured most of this. Anyway, my mascot's looking pretty cute so I decided to add the backround back on and start on the shading. Flag to see that. Alright, here's my cutie all shaded up against her backround. I decided to shade the different colours of the sunset and mountains because, well, they are what's lighting her up. So yeah. Pretty simple, I used the airbrush for shading because I'm basic. It was actually surprisingly easy to shade. I say that having only used art programs where it is extremely hard to draw, much less shade. Flag. This is how she ended up looking in my gallery! Yay! Overall, I really enjoyed using ibisPaint X. Oh, and this is now my profile picture 'cuz it's so cute. Flag. This is my finished backround, I thought you might appreciate the option of seeing it seperately because my mascot kind of hides it. Flag. This is the final picture of my review! Here's the finished product! Overall, I love ibisPaint X and will definetly be using it in the future! Thank you for reading!
Art, screenshots, and review done by me :DD ✨Have a happy day filled with sparkly strawberries!✨
