Kietr has insomnia, which makes it harder for him to fall asleep for fear of sleepwalking. His fears and sometimes nightmare-like delusions keep him clinging onto the fox nearest to him. He hates being alone anywhere. The lack of sleep makes him fuzzy-headed, clouding his senses in some areas and improving them in others. In this half-asleep state he sometimes can make weirdly accurate connections and guesses.
