its always us. the ones who barely get any representation , the ones who are told they’re no ones ideal type , the ones that are constantly bodyshamed and cultureshamed , the race that everyone turns a blind eye on. its not fair. multiple artists steal our culture for their fame , for CLOUT , without ANY appreciation , but the second they use someone else’s culture you guys are barking at them like dogs. if someone made a racial stereotype against a race , you guys would all be attacking them . but when its brown people / desis , you guys are all laughing along in the comments acting like its funny or something.. growing up i was encouraged to hate my race and pretend to be white. all i wanted to be was a white girl with blonde hair and blue eyes with pretty little freckles instead of the 6 year old brown girl that i was. i was taught to hate my culture and that no one loved me. why?? no one talks about the problematic stuff that idols say to desis , but the second its another race you all are BARKING like DOGS. why are we always being mistreated? examples? no one talks about: kyujin and jiwoo mocking desis (dont bring this up please, lily and haewon apologized for the group thankfully<3) jennie mocking bharatnatyam , and when it was brought up , toxic blinks said we were “overreacting” and said our dance was stupid. blinks who said that, you make me disgusted. touch some grass ☺️ stray kids doing karaoke to the curry song , im not sure if they apologized however they have never apologized to us rei mocking desis , yes i am an ive ult , but it pains me how barely anyone talks about this .. and so much more- (im not hating on any of these idols btw! im a skz and ive ult but im just trying to imply that barely anyone talks about these situations :”) ) not only that , but i barely see any brown representation in media . the only representation we had was probably ravi in bunk’d , devi in never have i ever , and miss marvel . thats literally it. i barely see any brown models too , like when i go to target all of the models are hispanic , latina , black , asian , white , etc. but never brown. are you trying to imply that we aren’t beautiful? or that we won’t sell out to your mind-twisting sexist sickening advertisements? we’re called cows , we’re told that we stink , we’re called so many names but the second its a different race everyone cares. no one speaks up when idols mock desis , but they speak up about it when its another race. i’m not trying to compare racism , im just trying to imply that everyone turns a blind eye on desis. our culture is beautiful , why should it get so much hate? im sure everyone here is familiar with the song paint the town (ptt) by loona! that song is literally bollywood inspired itself , cant believe yall are vibing to this song and then making racial stereotypes on the side ☠️ bfr im sure everyone here knows what henna is! fun fact , it originated in brown countries :) “The art of Henna—called mehndi in Hindi and Urdu—has been practiced in Pakistan, India, Africa, and the Middle East for over 5000 years.” so you’re gonna hate on our culture but still wear our culture for its aesthetic? the math isnt adding up to be im happy that this years miss world was a desi though , after 21 years. but the amount of poeple saying it was rigged or whatever (yes, there are people saying it was unfair and that india did not deserve the title) make me so livid. stop mistreating desis or browns in general. india isn’t the only south asian country thats mistreated , its also: - afghanistan - bangladesh - bhutan - india - the maldives - nepal - pakistan - sri lanka we are not cows , we don’t stink , we are not fat , we are not ugly , and we are not your meme. we are a beautiful race whom the world constantly mistreats and a race that gets no representation and we’re not ugly at all. leave us alone and stop being racist to us thinking you’re quirky or something , you are not , you are sick and you should be ashamed of yourself :) oh! and for those who will report this to the scratch team, know that this wasn’t meant to be racist at all :) it clearly says in the cg that we are allowed to express ourselves in any way we want and that racism isn’t allowed on this platform, so reporting won’t get this project taken down nor will it do anything. if it does get taken down however, i will repost this as many times as i want, even if it means my account will get taken down. im not chronically online , i dont like sitting around and watching my culture be used by people but at the same time they’re making racist remarks against me. remix this and add this to as many studios as you want. im tired of these racial stereotypes against desis, its horrible.
