"A stinging jellyfish who has mistakenly found herself deep in the underwater caverns of the underworld. Or perhaps it wasn't a mistake after all..." ---- She had first arrived in a rush of clear water and lustrous foam, neither of which was particularly fit for the place she had found herself in. It was quite dark, the few sources of light being the bioluminescent sea stars scattered amongst the floors and the jellyfish who had taken to the high ceilings, cascading in multitudes of blues, violets, and golds. It was also extremely crowded. Waves of intrepid sea creatures flowed through the caverns, some choosing to remain in their hybrid forms while others preferred the ease of gliding through the water as a marine being. Looking at the mishappen bodies of some of the hybrids and the thin trails of molten lava gushing from thin cracks in the stones, it was clear that she had died and ended up here. But surely there must have been some kind of mistake in the transfer here! She had been exceptionally good all her life. A life more than deserving of ending up anywhere but in this dark and gloomy place! Though, now that she thought about it…well… There was that one time she had accidentally wiped out an entire fish farm but was it really her fault they kept on swimming directly into her path? Or that other time when she had thrashed fearfully as a net had fallen onto her, inadvertently hitting one human in a spot that must have been especially painful given their loud wailing after the incident. Surely it couldn’t have been that bad, though? Right…? …Oh dear. --Continue!-- She looked around, nervous and concerned. Soon after, she spotted another alike her. Or at least she thought. They asked her, "what's wrong?" kindly. She started crying and reached out to claw the mysterious figure. They reluctantly took her hands and held them. Tears flowing down her eyes and restrained hands, she was more nervous than ever. She cried out and tried to back away, but they wouldn't let go. They dragged her through the rough currents and around the busy crowds of marine animals and hybrids alike to end up somewhere like no other. She gasped in awe seeing many shiny trinkets and eagerly examined them all, forgetting about the incident entirely. The other, stood there, as if waiting for something. Once she had looked at all of them, she noticed one was missing from the shelves, leaving a wide gap between the "mirar" and "spewn". She paused to feel a cold object touch her back. She spun around and quickly backed up, tearing one of her tights. She bent down and took it off, no use to it then. Her feet cramping from all the struggle she took her heels off, too. No one would mind, right? She looked up to see a remarkable quartz statue, somewhat resembling a galaxy. Without hesitation, she touched it. She began to feel a tingling sensation flow from her finger into her. She tried to move, but she couldn't. She looked around, the person was gone. Everything was gone. (I'm not rlly good at writing lol) Other: - absolutely fascinated by shiny trinkets - inexplicably good at astronomy (for a sea creature) - will either cry or claw your face if you try to talk to them - has definitely eaten their weight in baklava and is willing to do it again - uses their hair as a blanket when it gets too cold - daydreams instead of getting work done (and then wonders where the time went)
