If global warming reaches +1.5, we will start to have limited supplies of water, floods will happen more often etc. The higher this goes above +1.5, the worse it gets. We can only emit a certain number of CO2 (carbon dioxide) into the atmosphere for it to stay below +1.5. The timer shown is the projection for how long we can keep emitting CO2 for until we reach +1.5. By this time, all CO2 emissions need to have been stopped.
