My heart is utterly shattered. Her Majesty the Queen was an inspiration to me, someone I looked up to immensely and felt such fond affection for. Through 70 years of steadfast service to the United Kingdom, the Realms and Commonwealth, The Queen became a symbol and beacon of light and stability in a turbulent, fragile world. She brought us all together in life, as she now brings us all together in grief over her death. The world has lost one of the most incredible people to have ever stepped foot upon it. Now, as the Second Elizabethan Age has come to a close, we enter a new era, under our new King Charles III. As King of all the Commonwealth Realms, he has a monumental task ahead of him, and in the midst of his grief over the passing of his dear mother. My prayers are with him, and let us now proudly and in one voice proclaim: God Save the King!
