Sentakushi . . . . . . . . Exhausted, Natarii could hardly deal with Uzai... But it was hard to ignore him. First off, he was persistent- following her from work, where he also worked: Kaolin Music Studio. The largest Elvin Music Studio. Secondly, he was so adorable with his dimpled grin and sparkling, lime green eyes, his dark hair (which had teal streaks in it) falling over those same eyes. "Please, Natarii? One date?" He was impossible, but Natarii kept her cool, narrowing her eyes at him. "No, Uzai. I'm busy!" She almost liked him, but she refused to show it. But Uzai smiled at her, close eyed- making her groan. "Fine! Alright!" She sputtered, her face reddening from embarrassment. Uzai smiled wider, "Tomorrow at 1?" he asked, Natarii retorted with, "Where will you even take me?" Her only answer was a wave over his shoulder, as Uzai left- successful. Natarii finished the short walk to her home, the tall, marble spires shadowing the pristine sidewalk. She placed her fingertip on the DNA pad, it flashed green and opened the holographic, metal doors. They clanged heavily and Natarii squeezed through, careful not to scuff her knee-length, leather black boots. Immediately met was Sebasuchan, who's young-looking face smiled at her, even though he was at least 200. "Miss Kireina? I'm sure today was tiring, as usual? Menoka treats you unkindly." Unlike him, Menoka wasn't very empathetic. Natarii sighed, "As usual, the studio needs money, the fans need my face, the Elvin world is lucky to have an elf that can sing." Elves typically couldn't tell the difference between intervals of notes. They normally can't tell the difference between A-flat and B-flat, which was unusual, considering their sensitive hearing. Sebasuchan chuckled at her, "Oh, surely she can deal with you not breaking windows with your voice!" but Natarii laughed, "I broke three today. It's her fault! She made me do high-pitch. She knows I can't do that." Sebasuchan was her only guardian... and he has been her butler since she was born. Natarii didn't see him that way, but he acted like it. She went up to her room. The room was a lovely shade of lavender. The carpet was white with a silver lining, her bed had a large, white canopy. Shimmering drops floated from the ceiling, light reflecting off of the large mirror in the room. The wall-size window was open, its lavender curtains flowing- Natarii didn't notice the snowy owl staring at her, it's midnight blue eyes gazing. When she did, she let out a scream.
"SEBASUCHAAANNN!!!" As soon as he heard it, Sebasuchan was there in a flash, flinging open the beautiful door. When he saw an owl, he tilted his head, confused- but Natarii had already jumped on him. "Did YOU let this intruder in!?!?" she hissed at him. He cleared his throat, barely holding onto her on time, "Miss... it's... it's a harmless owl..." Seeing her exaggeration, Natarii (quite embarrassed) got down slowly, peering at the owl, who hooted quietly. The owl s l o w l y slid a golden envelope Natarii's direction with its claw, making a quiet scraping sound on the clean desk. Still stunned, Natarii very carefully picked up the envelope, peering at the owl the whole time. She opened the envelope and frowned. "What is Kik Nai?" End of Chapter One.
