“Cherrybreeze! Can you come here?” Ambermist meowed to the golden colored she-cat just a few feet away. “What is it, Ambermist? You know Sootpaw has a mind of his own, he is not to be left alone!” “Yes, I know that you are very protective of your apprentice, but we must go.” “Go where?” Cherrybreeze curiously meowed. “Remember? We must take Crystalpaw, Sootpaw and Leopardpaw to train. Otherwise they may never become warriors.” “What about Mintpaw and Honeypaw?” “They are still too young. They are not ready. But the other three are. Come on, let’s go!” Ambermist answered, starting to get annoyed at Cherrybreeze and her million questions. “Ok, fine. I will go get Sootpaw, but you’re in charge of getting the other apprentices.” “No problem.” -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- Soon, all the apprentices were gathered up, and the group was ready to go. So the two warriors and three apprentices set off. “Will I really get to be a warrior soon?” Sootpaw excitedly asked, jumping little steps as he walked. “Yes, but first you need to pass your training.” Cherrybreeze answered. “And I’ll be the best warrior BloomClan has ever seen!” Leopardpaw vowed, a little smuggly. “I can hunt better than both of you, combined!” “Well, that really isn’t saying much, since we aren’t experts yet.” Crystalpaw answered, walking beside her mentor. “Eh, that hardly matters. But when we’re all warriors, I’ll be the best. Just you wait!” “Sure you will.” Crystalpaw meowed under her breath. “What was that?” Leopardpaw meowed, turning her head back to hear what the she-cat had said. “Nothing.” Crystalpaw replied. Leopardpaw gave her a stern look then went back to leading the front of the group. “She sure is something.” Ambermist meowed to her apprentice, when Leopardpaw had gone out of earshot. “Yeah, she really is.” Her apprentice replied. “Hey, Ambermist. Where’s Shadowheart? Shouldn’t he be here? I mean, Leopardpaw is his apprentice.” Cherrybreeze meowed, as they walked along a little more. “Well, yes, she is his apprentice, but Shadowheart is on patrol, and he asked me to take her with us.” The five of them kept on walking through the lush green forest of BloomClan, until they came across a pool of water. It sparkled in the bright sunlight. “Here we are, now, time to get to training. I need Sootpaw and Crystalpaw, you’ll be training with Cherrybreeze, and Leopardpaw, you’ll be training with me.”
