Hello, everyone! it's been a while since I made a half-decent game, so I made Poker. Specifically, Texas Hold 'em . This is currently still under development, and is set to be finished (hopefully) by the end of 2024. In this box, if you scroll down, you will find the full rules for the game. BETTING RULES: Call: Match the current bet. Raise: Match the current bet and increase it. All players must match the new bet, and put in more in addition to all other bets that round. You can still fold and raise while matching a raise. Check: Bet nothing. You give the next person the power to start the first bet for that round. If all players check, the round moves on. Fold: Turn in your cards privately and stop betting immediately. Do not put anything else into the pot. You lose this round. You must do one of these, and bet the same as or more than what the previous person bet. (EX: bet is 2, you must put in two or more.) After a raise, keep going around the table, and match the raise. Once nobody owes more money to the pot, betting is over. ONE TURN: 1. Everybody buys in with one point. 2. The dealer discards the top card and distributes two cards to each player who bought in. KEEP THESE PRIVATE! 3. The player to the left of the dealer does starting bets. 4. Once starting bets are complete, the dealer discards one card and reveals three cards in a row, called the flop. 5. Players bet again, dealer discards and reveals. Repeat this until there are five cards in the row. 6. Players show their hands. The player with the best hand in their two cards and the row (not discarded cards or other player's cards) wins the pot. 7. Once a player runs out of money, they are out of the game. HAND ORDER: High Card (Highest card in a player's hand) Pair (a pair of cards with the same number) Two Pair (two pairs of cards) Three-of-a-kind (Three cards with the same number) Straight (five cards in ascending order) Flush (Five cards with the same suit) Full House (a pair and a three-of-a-kind) Four-of-a-kind (four cards with the same number) Straight flush (a straight in one suit) Royal Flush (a straight flush consisting of A, K, Q, J, 10) If two players have the same hand, the player with the highest card wins. (EX: a pair of 7s beats a pair of 3s, and a pair of 8s with a J beats a pair of 8s with a 7.) If players tie with a high card, Proceed in order. Clubs being low, then Hearts, then Diamonds, then Spades as high. OTHER RULES: Verbal is binding- If you say something that is mistaken by the dealer as an action (Check, Call, Fold), it is binding. Out of turn bets- If a player bets out of turn, players before him can still make any bet. If any player makes an aggressive action before the out of turn better, said player can undo their bet and change it, but if a passive action is taken, the bet stands. Clock- If a reasonable amount of time has passed for a player to bet, another player can call clock. When clock is called, the player who is betting has 1 minute to bet before their cards are immediately folded.
