(However, all you know from the game is that Oak is pushy about them, so I'll tell you: Sparrowstar gave them to him in the final SeaClan/SparrowClan battle as revenge on him for not siding with Sparrow.)

What Happened Between Sparrowstar's Revenge (SR)and Whispering Shadows? - SeaClan and SparrowClan made peace under the leadership of Robinstar (deputy you played as in SR) and Ivystar(In an OC project I made, go check it out! -A few moons passed, tensions within SeaClan grew. - A devastating winter hit and afterwords, some cats from SeaClan left to create VioletClan, fed up with the leadership of Verbenastar. They recruited rogues to join the Clan in territory to the west of SeaClan and northwest of SparrowClan. -There was some conflict between VioletClan and SeaClan, but eventually it got sorted out. Though tensions are still high and neither Clan is fond of the other. - A Gathering Place was chosen, in shared land between the Clans.
