Niki set the tray of cookies into the oven , turning to grab the tray of macarons. " Are you almost done with the cake there , Puffy ? " she asked softly , peaking over at the counter. Puffy glanced up at her girlfriend , setting the icing kn1f3 down. " Almost ! Then we can get to decorating ! " she replied. Niki smiled fondly , and set the tray of macarons in the oven , shutting the oven door , before she took off her pastel pink oven mitts , proceeding to set them down on the table , and walked over to Puffy. The pair began to decorate the cake , forgetting all about the pastries in the oven , until Niki perked up, smelling something ,, burnt. She was confused for a moment , before it hit her. " The pastries !- " she squeaked , rushing over to the oven. She opened the oven door , and frowned when she saw what had happened. Everything had burned. She sighed sadly , and shut off the oven , grabbing the oven mitts. Puffy walked over , and watched as Niki removed the burned pastries from the small oven. " Oh , Love ,, " she mumbled. " At least we have the cake right ? " she said , trying to reassure her that not everything was screwed up. Niki smiled a bit , and nodded , removing the oven mitts once again. " Yeah ,, You're right , Puffy. " she murmured , feeling her smile widen. ~ Done ! ~
