introduction ⚠ WARNING ⚠ this is going to be rather quite long. anyway, heres my very first description project! :D so before reading, i want to remind you that there will be HUGE spoilers for the whole series here. if you plan to and havent watched the show yet, i definitely recommend not reading this. another thing you should remember is that the show is rated pg-13. keep in mind that this is just my opinion and im such a critic when it comes to these kinds of things so it will / may seem like i dont like the show. thats all and lets get started! <3 ♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡ summary basically, wednesday is a tv show on netflix. it's a redesign of the original addams family tv show that first came out in 1964. wednesday addams is a 15-16 year old who can conjure visions. she finds her younger brother pugsley tied up in a locker and shes sees a psychic vision of his bullies, who she tries to k1ll in revenge, but consequently gets expelled. her parents, morticia and gomez addams then enroll her in a school for outcasts called nevermore academy, in jericho, vermont. ♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡ wednesdays actress / wednesday so like first of all, i cant get over the fact that the no blinking thing was absolutely GENIUS. like jenna ortega was so fit for the character and she slays. ive been around since stuck in the middle and that was when jenna was just an up and coming actress. it makes me so happy at the fact that she has become so successful from so little at one point. ♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡ the love triangle so the love triangle consisted of wednesday, tyler and xavier. maybe it couldve been done better but when wednesday and tyler kissed, and she realised that he was actually the hyde was AMAZING. when wednesday accused xavier that he was the hyde, he still forgived her which i think was a bit quick but when crackstone shot that arrow at xavier and wednesday took it instead, that was super cute. though there was a bit of ✨ L O V E ✨ going on, im glad it didnt turn into one of those mushy teen romances. :D ♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡ enid and ajax i dont have much to say about this but both of them are so CUTE together! <33 like enid has that chirpy and cheerful personality while ajax has a shy and caring one, and i think theyre perfect together ♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡ enid and wednesday although they had a little fight somewhere during the series, they worked it out and that hug at the end when enid wolfed out and fought tyler was so cute. for some reason, people are shipping enid and wednesday but i think just as them being besties is perfect and i feel that them as a couple would not be nice. besides, ajax and enid are so cute together and hopefully, just hopefully, they dont break up in the next season. D: ♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡ eugene eugene is such an amazing friend. even though wednesday said specifically not to go to the woods alone, he took the risk to find out and hes such a great character! it was kinda obvious that wednesday sincerely cared for eugene and eugene cared for wednesday and he clearly displayed that when he went to the woods. hes amazing! ! >:3 ♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡
♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡ tyler tyler is one of the most divisive characters in wednesday thanks to the critism of how his character has been developed. he tried to trick wednesday into thinking he wasnt the hyde ( which she didnt expect anyway ). hes such a two face. it was a bit scary how tyler was the one person wednesday trusted and was actually the monster all along. i wonder, did he really love her or was it just fun to watch her run around trying to get the monster when he was just right under her nose? ♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡ dr kinbott she was still a teeny bit creepy, even though she wasnt laurel. ♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡ goody addams she had psychic visions as well as wednesday and they look the same ? ( i know theyre both played by jenna ). she also kinda connects the murder mystery to the protagonist and her creepy, wacky family. ♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡ wednesday's visions i have to admit, this visions idea was pretty cool, but i think it couldve been more developed. the fact that morticia, wednesday AND goody all shared the same gift was also quite smart and the way it happened was interesting as well. ♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡ gomezs past gomez and garrets past with each other was pretty engrossing as it linked many pieces of the whole story together. it coulve been a larger part of the show as it had a big backstory to it. it was a nice addition to why laurel was hunting wednesday down too. ♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡ the gates family theyre related to crackstone, adding more story to why theyre hunting down wednesday, and the way this family was described was really intriguing. they were always a strange family and i knew something was up with them. ♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡ wednesday's accusations first of all, HOW DID XAVIER FORGIVE HER???? sorry- but like, she was so sure of her accusations and she barely had any evidence. but i do think this was a key part in xavier and wednesdays relationship as friends or ? . . . ✨ A C O U P L E ✨ lol- ♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡ laurel gates laurel gates (marylin thornhill) was such an interesting touch to the plot. i- she- she was so kind at first but then quickly changed. two faced just like tyler. many people thought : why was she a redhead? well, when wednseday was ??♀️ S N O O P I N G ??♀️ around the gates' house, the dusty old portrait had laurel in blonde hair. i bet she knew wednesday was going to check their house so she dyed her hair ginger to change her identity. ♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡ conclusion this show was AMAZING but as i stated above, i feel many things could be developed a bit more like bianca, the nightshades and more. overall, a great show and i definitely recommend watching! <33
