Her parents took her to the doctor and the doctor told them it was a result of her quirk. Miyuki's mother was confused because she thought her quirk hadnt even manifested yet. Miyuki's parents started to conduct tests on her to figure out what her powers were. They later found out at the age of 6 that she had to power to control and manipulate the elements and anything to do with them...including people. She was told to try and make her mother move to see if it was mind control or something of the sort. But when she made her mother move, it turned out she was controlling the water in her body...and accidentally drained it out of her causing her mother to 'pass away'. Her dad was so frightened he sent her away to live with her grandmother who died when she was 10 years old. When she became an orphan, all the kids at school bullied her for not having parents. And after the incedent that had happened she refused to ever use her quirk again and make everyone think she was quirkless. But then, she met her best friend Momo Yayorozu. They became best friends and when Miyuki told her the truth, Momo helped her with her qurik, but it still always caused her to become very ill or become nauseous and pass out. She was later accepted into U.A but didnt start her first day till almost 5 months into the school year due to becoming sick and landing herself in the hospital. But now she is finally in U.A and little did she know that that was where she would meet the love of her life.(Cringey I know)
