It's a good day for a swell battle! +~~~+ Rules +~~~+ Rock is red, Paper is green, and Scissors is blue. If a unit tries to go over an edge, it will screen wrap. Units will change if they're beaten. Rock beats Scissors, Scissors beats Paper, and Paper beats Rock. +~~~+ Notes +~~~+ This idea came into existence while I was messing around with multiple moving players. I essentially thought that "hey, it would be cool if I made this a fighting game!" I then settled on a "rock-paper-scissors" style and whipped up a quick movement system (for each frame a unit can move up to 2 pixels in X and up to 2 pixels in Y, meaning the max pixels a unit can move is 4 if they roll positive or negative 2 in both X and Y) and combat system (units will swap types on touching the background color of the unit. rocks are #ff0000, papers are #00ff00, and scissors are #0000ff). If you find out that the game is rigged towards/against a certain unit, let me know in the comments! +~~~+ Credits +~~~+ Sadly, an evil kumquat thought the credits were a signature and ate it. Probably because it was just talking about myself. P.S. I find it oddly poetic that a team wins when the team they attack does the work for them. Like, the Scissors work together to completely dominate the Papers, and yet the Rocks win (even if there's one!) because they're undefeatable without any Papers to attack them, and the Scissors can't fight back in any way. Makes me think of self-restraint to keep the ecosystem alive or something.
