Another train vector. This time it is D&RGW 463. If using for other projects, make sure to give credit. History on the locomotive can be seen below.
Rio Grande 463 is a 3 foot Gauge K-27 2-8-2 “mikado”type locomotive built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1903. It operated on the Denver and Rio Grande until 1955 when it was sold to a cowboy actor and singer named Gene Autry. The locomotive was never used and was later donated to the city of Antonito, Colorado. It was restored by and entered the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad in 1994. However, in late 2002, a broken side rod took it out of service. In 2009, it was taken to the railroads shop in Chama, New Mexico where a major rebuilt was done. Then, in spring 2013, it was operating once again pulling a passenger train throughout the railroad and has also operated in 2015 pulling a train of vintage freight cars.
