(Delete these instructions in your remix) Once you press play you will enter a settings menu where you can decide whether or not to have a boss battle, where to have the battle and where the player will win. Once you get to the final question "is your new remix ready to be shared?" I recommend that you say no until you have all of your levels designed and the entire remix is playable beginning to end. In this remix of my remix you have a blank slate 15 by 15 tile area to work with, and all the scripts and stuff are already set up so all you need to do is go to whatever tile you want to edit and press M once you press M scratch cat will tell you what X and Y you are on and the costume number you would want to edit. Simply go into the level sprite and edit that costume however you want for your very own custom levels in my generic platformer altered GOI engine. Once your brand new project is 100% finished press the green flag and make sure to get the settings exactly how you want them and then say yes to the final question at that point you will no longer be able to change the settings at all and will skip over the settings menu upon pressing green flag, at this point your remix will be ready to be shared!
★★★ Secondary Remix Description ★★★ I created this remix to make it easier to create your very own stationary screen levels. ★★★ Remix Changes and Credits ★★★ This is a remix of griffpatch's getting over it recreation, which aims to give you the general experience of playing the average scratch 2D platformer but with griffpatch's getting over it physics. Massive thanks to griffpatch and Bennett Foddy for the original games. Thanks to @BILLGATESFAN / @laurensp22 for telling me how to fix the leaderboard. ★★★ Initial Project ★★★ A Scratch Recreation of "Getting Over It" by Griffpatch Subscribe on YouTube for Scratch Tutorials You can also see his 4'30 speed run on YouTube ★★★ Instructions ★★★ Best played with your web browser in full screen mode (F11) to remove the title-bar - this interferes with the mouse controls when things get frantic - you'll thank me later I promise! (Q+R to reset level) Use your mouse to control Scratch Cat's hammer. Push, Drag and Throw yourself up the level in your quest to "Get Over It". Those that do manage it can compete to get the fastest time which shows on the front menu. ★★★ Main Credits ★★★ Thanks to Griffpatch for the original scratch game. Thanks for Bennett Foddy for the original game, sounds effects and level design. Music is "Soul and Mind" supplied by YouTube. All voice acting is by the original creator griffpatch. ★★★ Remix Updates ★★★ January 15th 2023 - N/A - Released the new remix January 12th 2023 - N/A - Remixed the remix January 6th 2023 - v1.0 - Released the remix A couple days earlier - Remixed the project
