I wanted to do something new and different for my 100th Scratch project. This is the result. You can also view this on YouTube: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/youtube/PWbNSTZROHY/ I animated this by creating a number of individual pieces on a piece of paper, taking pictures of the drawings, and then moving them via Scratch. This was a good opportunity to get better at using some watercolor pencils I got for Christmas. I really liked some of Bill Wurtz's more recent animations, like "Perfect" and "Two Friends on the Beach", so I tried to find a way to create my own surreal style of writing. I like how it turned out.
For the music at the end of the animation, I enlisted the help of HedgeQuill, who did a great job of creating a jazz adaptation of Korobeiniki, otherwise known as the theme for the video game Tetris. Additionally, I used a wind sound effect from FunWithSound of Pixabay.
