Silver Silence - POV Nova, The Rouge It’s strange. The Clock of Stars is ticking, as it should. But I can see the lines of age upon our glorious leader's young face. I am Nova, Outlaw of the Realms. Guilty of Trespassing upon private property. The Property in question was in fact belonging to some dentist, but he had an axe and was screaming. You don’t mess with those kinds of men. I ran, and was labeled an Outlaw in the hearing I missed. Had I been there, I might have stood a chance at freedom. But no matter. I’m not part of the Chaotic Rebellion. I support our beloved Queens dearly. But enough about me. You’re only here to hear about the Silver Bells aren’t you? Well, you’ve come to the right place. Month of Moths, the 23rd Day. I was minding my business in a market when two thugs ran at me. I, being sensible, ran. Insensibly, I arrived in the Peace Realm. “Galaxies breath.” I cursed. Now not only did I have to evade the thugs, I had to evade the police. And that’s when I met him. A young man with a scraggly cloak. To this day I still do not know his name. The begger reached out and asked if I would purchase his wares. A good cover story, so I ducked into his hut and lay eyes to treasure beyond the brain could even think of. Golden songbirds, pearl dresses, and most notably, the famed Silver Bells. “Those can summon help, peace, and true love. Just about anything pure.” The salesmen said. “They also can repair magic items.” The Clock of Stars is magic, and surely it is broken. “I’ll take them.” I said, the thugs were getting closer. I shook the bells, but no sound. Not even a clang. “You’ve scammed me!” I took them and ran into an empty park and shook them again. Silence. Then a voice. “I’ll save you from them.” A smooth strapping voice said. I turn to see a teenage boy, wearing goggles and other various items. “They worked?” I had squeaked. “What? No I saw the thugs and decided a pretty lady like yourself should get somewhere safe.” The boy offers his hand. “Lennox.” I took it. “Nova. Now let’s get away.” With a click of a device, we were safely transported to the Realm of Ice. It seems those strange Silent Bells worked.
