“I am dating someone” Pancakes said. But this did not seem like news to anyone. “Wait. Am I the only here that does not know this?” I said, looking around. Welp, I guess I am not really Epic, I thought. “Yea, I am dating Ollie. We decided to tell you like this incase…” he didn’t finish the sentence. “In case I like you?” I asKed quietly. Everyone was silent. “I gotta go…” said One of my basketball buddies. Another one went with her. And so did the third one. “Me too…” said Van. “I am gonna go with her.” Said Jayson. Eventually everyone left besides Me, Pancakes, and Ollie. I walked up to Ollie looking at the ground. I looked up. My bangs covered my right eye. “Ollie, I told you to be brave and you did. I don’t care how things turn out as long as your happy.” I said. Ollie stared into my eyes. Finally she took a deep breath and said, “your the bravest person I know and I want to be as brave but you pushed me into being brave which is not a bad thing.” “I know. And as second grade me said, no matter how hard I try, I will always be an outcast. And I live up to that. But I got friends that really support me and I support you all the way.” Ollie smiled and said, “your epic”.
