(WARNING: Slight/Mild Flashing Lights) Alrighty, so these three really inspired me all at once and I couldn't draw just one. The narrative for this trio sort of connects, so I made a couple of changes to their designs. Those changes being: -The gals have charms. -The formalwear gal has subtle markings added to her arms, since the guy and technowear gal both have markings. --[Backstory]-- Valerie (Formalwear gal), Loretta (Technowear gal), and Jessie (Casual boy) are a young, ragtag group of crime-solvers in a city set far into the future. With hologram ads at every corner, the city is overrun with consumerism. Everyone is fighting to the top to become the richest and most powerful - with material things determining a person's status more than ever. To make matters even more complicated, every person is born with a set of ley lines across their body that show up as different colored markings usually matching their eye color. When someone comes of age, they are given a charm that activates these ley lines as well as their hidden power. However, someone has gotten hold of a way to tamper with people's charms, causing them to malfunction. When a charm malfunctions, powers can become unpredictable or have potentially deadly side-effects. Here, the trio is deciding where to go next in their mystery when Jessie's charm begins to malfunction. --[Trivia/Namesakes]-- All of their names are inspired by songs. Valerie's comes from Valerie - Amy Winehouse, Jessie's comes from Jessie's Girl - Rick Springfield, and I had to name a character after this song. So Loretta's name is from Loretta - Ginger Root. Similarly to Jessie, Valerie's charm is connected to her hip.
