So I was just kinda scrolling through the internet, not really doing anything productive, when suddenly I get this feeling like I have to write something. I didn't have any idea what it would be, I just knew I HAD to open up Microsoft Word and start typing. I did, and sat there for a few minutes, then typed out the first line. Let me tell you, what happened next was amazing! It was like I could just feel God giving me the words, and I just sat there with my eyes closed, typing out everything I heard. This is the result, I guess you could call it a poem. A psalm, maybe? Anyway, I think this is part of the testimony God wants me to share. For the past year and a half, I've been struggling with an addiction. I've felt very guilty about it the whole time, but it wasn't until last Thanksgiving that I finally brought it to the Lord and asked Him for help. The temptations are still all around me, but God has helped me to ignore them. When I have stumbled off the path, He's been quick to help me right back onto it. I still have a long way to go, but I have God to thank for the recovery I've made so far. Whoever's reading this, I want you to know that the God who created the universe and everything in it loves you! He is able to and wants to help you with whatever you may be struggling with right now, all you have to do is accept His help! It may not be easy, but God will always be there for you whenever you need Him. Will you let Him heal you?
