The HiveWing genes gave the spikes and the stingers, which have venom that causes sleepiness because why not. They live in the Frost Kingdom, which is the Ice Kingdom. It's having a bit of a Great Depression-like crisis, so Aurora doesn't want to raise the kid there. DustWings: Sand-Rain-Sky, effectively. They have the fan and the scorpion stings of a SandWing(not to mention the colors), can turn camouflage(but not other colors) like RainWings, and also have the ruffs, and have huge wings and firey eye colors like SkyWings. They live in the Dune Kingdom, which is the Sand Kingdom. They're pretty stable, except for the fact that at the time of this chapter, they have a power-hungry queen trying to take over the Frost Kingdom. She's been drafting people, and that's how Jade ended up in the army. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Some Backstory Aurora and Jade met when the DustWings first launched the invasion. Jade was supposed to capture Aurora when they met, but he was in love and released her. Aurora fell in love back and they met at the old Prisim-Dust border(technically Dust territory now, but nobody really cares) and made the eggo. The eggo is the first DuneWing, which I have a species ref for in my speedpaint studio. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Note This chapter happens thousands of years before the first chapter, so naturally, there are some changes. The DuneWings call Aurora the Great Mother because of obvious reasons, and also the Great Healer because she was a good healer. They call jade the Great Father for obvious reasons and call him the Great Warrior because he fought hard to protect the blossoming DuneWing community. Eventually the DuneWings erased themselves from the other tribe's knowledge, and now live invisible in the Sand Kingdom.
