for camp coders (co)leaders .. part 1 hello! if you aren't a (co)leader or a (co)host of camp coders (so if you aren't @clouded_moon--, @GLITCHBOy100, @Jewelshine157, @boiyourname, @TheManOfTheMan10, or @EvaTheBanana) we ask you to click away, since everything that's explained here is supposed to be a surprise >:0 so it might ruin your experience as a camper.. anyway..if you are a (co)leader/(co)host of camp coders..then welcome!! :v this project will explain the basic things that you'll have to do as a (co)leader of camp coders! :0 everything will be written in the project desc (here) bc i was too lazy to make a slide show :/ i'll try to explain this as simply as possible, but some parts might be hard to understand?? so if you have any questions, feel free to ask them! -- the most important thing that a (co)leader should do is making a theme and a storyline for their team, as well as giving the campers homework that they should complete. - chapter 1 :: theme so, a theme is like, the...topic of the team. kind of like, a title of a book. for example, team 1 could be "the pine cabin" or something lmao- since this is *camp* coders, we'd prefer if the team name was based off of the theme of "camps" and "nature". but it doesn't really matter ^^ - chapter 2 :: storyline okay, so you chose the theme?? then it's time for the storyline! a storyline is basically a short story to explain what's going on in the team. go and check out the campfire..do you see a story there? uh- if you don't, look at it again lmao- if you do, then great?? lmao- the story in the campfire is the storyline of it. just make something like that for your team. you don't have to make anything with a good plot or anything; just a little short story to explain what's going on. you can introduce yourself and your (co)leader in the storyline. how? do something like this. "hello!" you hear somebody say. "i'm [ name ] , your leader !! and welcome to [ theme ] ! " or something lmao- you should also describe what kind of place your team is. make sure to use a lot of descriptive words so that the campers can have a picture in their mind xdd - chapter 3 :: homework this is basically just an in-team weekly activity, but it will have to be based on a lesson that i will make every week. just give them a weekly prompt. you can do it too, if you want to! we were originally thinking of making the leaders make the lessons, but we decided not to, sot that the leaders would not have as much responsibility. but if you want to help out with the lessons, please contact us in either my profile (), or in the signups studio!! make sure to describe what the campers are supposed to make, and give them a few tips on how to do it. if somebody asks a question, be sure to answer it. if you're not sure about something, then ask it to me xdd i'm not /that/ experienced in coding, but i /think/ i'll be able to answer it.. you should try to help the campers out and give them tips on what to do if they're stuck. don't tell them what to do, though. this camp is about improving and having fun while coding, and they wouldn't be able to do that if you just straight on tell everybody what to do! - wheww that was long!! thanks for listening!! oh, and i almost forgot..HOMEWORK mwhahhhahahsdfhadsjkfhv YES YOU GET HOMEWORK TOO /j haha don't worry, it's simple- your homework is to comment a theme you had in mind and a paragraph that you're intending to put in your team's storyline. okay, bye lmao-
