The Corpse Mimic (Miseros imitantia) is a truly wretched creature, mimicking mauled corpses to lure smaller scavengers into a sense of safety, until lunging from a sedative state to biting and constricting prey. They are known to contort to fit into the bones of their victims and use them as exposed bones of the corpse they are mimicking, giving them more armor in the process. They even emit smells that smell just like rotting flesh! They inhabit most warm areas and come in all shapes and sizes.
