Portals and Stars - POV Nova, the Rouge Nicky and I took off through the streets of Voidling in pursuit of Lennox. My fellow outlaw smirks at me. “Your blushing.” I feel my cheeks. Sure enough, they are warm. “Wh-what makes you say that?” “They are red.” Nicky replies. “Do you like Lennox?” “How very direct. No.” Nicky pouts. “Aw. Then I’m the only one with a crush in our little gang.” This almost makes me stop in my tracks. “Who?!” Nicky pauses abruptly. “No one.” “Too late for lying sweetie.” I say in my best Nicky impression. She laughs. “That was good. Fine. Don’t tell anyone, but it’s…” she lowers her voice to a whisper before Lennox suddenly turns and crashes straight into us. “Hey.” He says. “Nice seeing you two.” “Meep.” Nicky elbows me. Hard. “Hey Lennox. Fancy seeing you here as well.” She says all Royal-like “We’ll look at you, being posh.” He chuckles. “Lennox.” I clear my throat. “We need help.” “Go ahead.” Lennox gestures. “So. Trivia.” Nicky interrupts. “What powers the life force of the World and the eternal youth of Queen Aria?” “The Clock of Stars of course.” Lennox answers quickly. “It’s broken.” I state. “And I know how to fix it.” “How? Those weird instruments I found you with?” “Yeah.” I said, surprised. “Anyway…” Nicky says with a huge grin on her face. Please don’t. “Nova had an idea where we used your teleport device thing to help us travel between realms and restore the Clock.” Oh I thought she was going to say something embarrassing like- “So we would be honored if you would join us.” -like that. “Sure. Why not.” Lennox replies. “The device your talking about actually creates like…miniature portals, rips into reality and lets people step though.” Nicky grins and mouths ‘your welcome.’ “Anyways.” I say pointedly. “Let’s get you to meet the gang.”
Gah! Im not a personal fan of this chapter. Pretty much a bunch of fluff and stuff so the group can get together. For my own sanity, the next chapter will be more dynamic. I had barely RPed with @Gred5651 until the research portion of this chapter.
