Poof! I landed in the middle of nowhere. Well, not exactly nowhere, but a garden. A weird garden. It was filled with rows of flowers that looked like they came from a fairy tale. Big, and puffed up, like balloons. The sun that shone in the clear, blue sky reflected off the super vibrant colors, making the shadows look like a shade of blue and pink. They also seemed to smell very peculiar, as if I had just been hit with a gust of nostalgia. I peered over to the distant view, but I quickly shaded my eyes from the sun’s rays. I squinted so hard I could just barely make out a small house. I could also see something, no - someone outside. I ran over to see what was going on and noticed that I was covered with purple bruises and claw marks covered in dried blood. ”Huh. I don’t remember this.” I said, thinking out loud as I brushed over the ancient-looking marks with my hand, just suddenly feeling the pain as if they were new. I ignored it though because more important questions needed to be answered, like why was I in a field of flowers? I heard a loud shriek, then a wind that swept me up from my legs. I had no idea what had happened after that. After what felt like hours I got up, my entire back aching, only to find myself laying in a wrecked house. It looked like a wreaking ball demolition site. The roof was half gone, water was leaking in the corners, and furniture was flung and twisted in pieces. I take a look at the shattered glass in front of me. I see half the face of a dark figure, with one electric blue eye staring back. "What the-" I stammer, leaning backward. Then comes the sound of creepy laughter, followed by the sound of shattered glass. I heard footsteps coming from the other side of the wall behind me. A little girl with singed brunette hair limped over. She had tattered clothes and a sad, tired-looking face. A big nasty cut on her cheek was bleeding. She was holding on to what looked like a half-broken sword, glistening in the moonlight. I could sense a tragedy within it. It too seemed to have a sad aura. But when her eyes widened, and the girl got closer to me, I finally got the chance to recognize her. “Luna,” I whispered. Tears streamed down her cheeks. I just stood there, in all the piles of scrap and destruction, the memories flooding back. Me. Luna. The Pearl of Jupiter. I finally realized what happened. The reason why everything has been like this. Everything started to rush back, piecing together bit by bit, like one big jigsaw puzzle. Tears welled in the corners of my eyes. “it's been so long.”
AHHHHH (Screaming cuz it's the first story I've ever put online) :)
