1.Read notes first (Read ALL of it to have an understanding!!!) 2.Enter the number of your desire, pick anything over 1 3.Sit back and watch as the simulation runs
The Collatz Conjecture was made by Lothar Collatz. It goes as follows: Pick any number above 1, if the number is even then divide by two, if the number is odd then multiply by 3 then add 1. Collatz believed that you can pick any number and it will eventually end up to one, and so far this has proved to be true. So far numbers 2 through 2 to the power of 100000 which is so high that the worlds most powerfull calculators cant compute. So in other words we have tested so many numbers that we could fill the whole entire universe 50 times over! Scratch is by no means a powerful calculater and caps at around 10^308 which is nothing compared to the amount of numbers calculators can compute. So have fun trying this out, maybe one day we will find some obscure number to prove this wrong, but until then the Collatz Conjecture remains a mathmatical mystery... BONUS NOTES: It took me a while to make an odd and even detector because scratch DOSENT HAVE ONE TwT but i made one finally so yay!
