This is disgusting and wrong in so many ways. Some kids CAN'T COME OUT TO THEIR PARENTS, and you know, pronouns and preferred name are not only PERSONAL, they are extremely important to LGBTQ+ kids who don't feel comfortable in their bodies. Calling someone by the name and pronouns that they associate themselves with is the respectful thing to do. My friend Anne had to deal with this a year ago or so. Anne is enby and wanted to go by her middle name (Anne) and by referred to as 'they/them'. The school wouldn't let her unless her parents called to confirm. She only came out to her mom and sisters. Tbh I've lost contact with her but I hope that her dad supports her. I guess the point of this is: STOP TRANSPHOBIA. FOR THE KIDS, FOR EVERYONE.
