DISCLAIMER; i don’t mean to throw hate or shade to any of the groups that are mentioned here, these are my opinions and you have your own opinions too. ^^ alot of major companies are accepting minors to be apart of new groups, and it is just wrong. I get that some people may want to be idols when they grow up and that is completely fine and i don’t have anything against it, but recently something caught my attention and its just disgusting.. NEW JEANS: new jeans is a south korean girl group that was formed by hybe, consisting of members; minji, hanni, danielle, haerin & hyein. The group debuted in 2022 and have quickly caught the attention of many kpop fans, as they are only teenagers their song “Hype Boy” has reached over 5,000,000 streams in Korea and have surpassed bts most popular song. NEW JEANS SONG “COOKIE”: when new jeans released this song i thought it was amazing, a friend of mine told me to stop listening to it since i didn’t know the english translation. I found out and i was TRAUMATISED. I don’t get how a company would let their group which are minors sing this song, for example; cookies I made, come and take a lookie. I really don’t want you to be traumatised so here’s some free “what did i just read” water. The main problem is that these girls are literally talking about, yk,.. and they are wearing clothes that could sjxualise them. Why on earth would any company make their group do all of these stuff. Apart from that though new jeans are amazing singers and should NOT be made to do all of these disgusting stuff.
