Arrow keys to move and start it up Hit space to toggle the settings **when setting Cam Dimensions, account for scale (larger sizes will need to be scale of 1). Otherwise it will not properly fit on the screen, and cause errors. Cam width/height : The dimensions of the camera. The width/height will display as 1 tile smaller on each side. Scale : Renders the 8x8 tiles at varying scales (1x, 2x...) Borders : 1 = visible, 0 = invisible (as it would display in-game) I've done my best to make most of the code procedural, hence why you can easily tweak the variables and the system *should* adjust.
Inspired by @JimmyC and the Griffpatch rpg tutorials (tho I didn't use them for this) Animations and collisions still need to be added (the red under you should help with collisions). + enemies and more camera options (camera shake, panning, etc.). oh, and channels to travel between maps.
