- Due to its beta stage, the high score and leaderboard may be reset often Q&A (Ask me questions in the comments or real life) Q: Why does the cat slow down when they get sucked into the black hole? A: Gravitational time dilation causes the cat to seem to go slower as they approach the black hole. They eventually seem to stop before slowly fading into nothingness. If you were the cat, it would seem normal as you fall toward the black hole. Distortion would cause the black hole to start slowly warping around you. If you would look backward, it would seem like time was speeding up as you would witness the end of the universe before becoming spaghettified and likely being able to see the back of your head before, of course, dying. Q: Why did I make this project about black holes? A: I found an interest in black holes due to their unique place in the universe and strange properties. I also got some inspiration from the movie "Interstellar."
