You meet the charming captain, Geric Allen, and are pleased about how kind he is... However, just after one day at sea, a ferocious storm blows up, and the captain suddenly becomes quite moody, claiming to have lost control of the ship. And this is all without worrying about the ki|ler lurking among the guests... And who is the hidden man that the captain claims to take orders from? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Background Character Bio~ Geric Allen // 25 or so // male // human, but a strong one // Captain Allen has a head of abundant black hair, which he keeps trimmed to a respectably short length, so that it's slight wave is almost unnoticeable. His eyes are a dark, intense blue, but can seem rather greenish in certain lighting, almost seeming like the sea he has sailed on for the majority of his life. His brows are thick and dark, and tend to draw together when his mood is more troubled, almost meeting over his straight, slightly long nose. His mouth is firmly cut, but his smile sometimes seems rather thoughtful when it appears on occasion. His skin is decidedly tanned, but does not hold the weather-beaten texture of most sailors, and retains a smooth, even appearance, except when it is marred by a pale scar on his left wrist. His face is narrow but chiseled, and his jawline is shaped well. Although he is lean and wiry, Geric still possesses a noticeable amount of muscle, a result of his many years on the ocean, and an occasional situation when he had to fight for his life. Although his form is sturdy and commanding, and is 6'3, he is surprisingly agile, quick, and handles most jobs with a high level of adeptness. // Geric wears the traditional uniform of all of the crew on the Avante, except a little more elegant. First, he wears navy blue pressed slacks that seem almost black, tucked into a pair of neat boots with a golden buckle on the side. Over that he wears a trim blue coat, which buckles in front to look like a shirt. A small amount of gold braid runs around the cuffs of the sleeves and across the shoulders and high color, and the buttons hiding the coat shut are imbedded with some sort of diamonds. He rarely wears the matching hat that accompanies this uniform. // At first, the captain seemed very friendly, and naturally able to converse with the guests and crew in a pleasant, and yet strict manner. He is generally understanding and light-hearted, encouraging everyone to enjoy themselves as much as possible. In spite of this, when his rather volatile temper is aroused, he can be demanding and rather haughty, and a little too quick to assert his leadership over the crew and guests. He can be stubborn and unyielding when he chooses to be, but usual retains his calm and interesting bearing, and likes recounting stories of his adventures at sea. With his chivalrous, noble bearing, it is almost difficult to dislike the captain, and it is easy to suppose that he had no idea that a ki|ler is on the boat. And yet, although he remains open and cordial in his interactions, there is a slightly held back and mysterious side to him that is usually only revealed when he is alone. However, after the fierce storm swept in and the ship lurched out of control, the captain became much more reclusive, preferring to stay hidden in his rooms or in the observation deck, and in his rare interactions with the guests, he seems almost driven to distraction with worry. Although he seems to regard the ki|ler with mild confusion, something about the steely glint in his eyes and the rebellious mood which hovers around him vaguely hints that he may know more than he insists he does. // Captain of the Avante // Geric apparently likes parties and music, as merry events are held on the Avante almost every night. He likes traveling and has been to the majority of large countries in the world, and he has a strong fondness for foreign foods. He is a fan of having a strict order on his ship, making sure that his crew are always careful in all of their tasks, and always keeps his rooms and clothing immaculate. He enjoys anything made of gold or diamonds, and was decidedly extroverted before the storm hit. // The captain has a high tolerance for most things, but he dislikes any show of insubordination from his crew, or if someone makes a big mess on his ship. Due to his fiery temper, he can be easily encouraged into saying things that he will regret later. // Geric ran away from home when he was only 13, and, for many years served faithfully on ships, until he suddenly was put in command of the luxury ship, the Avante. Whether someone helped him attain this position is... Uncertain. Anything else may be revealed later. // Dark blue //
