This is censored so like, you'll have to figure what the **** bits are supposed to be. This is a re-post as I've edited stuff.
Krisen drew his sword, stalking through a forest alongside a lake when something suddenly moved behind him. Nothing. Again to his left this time, "Where are you? You ugly son of a *****!" Just as he said that the water next to him moved and with a roar a green humanoid with matted black hair and pointed yellow teeth emerged. It was easily 10 feet tall. It growled and swung a clawed hand towards Kristen who vaulted it. With a flick of his wrist, Krisen cut the beast's arm at the joint. The sword hit bone and there was an ear-splitting crack. Black blood sprung from the wound. The ground on which the blood landed sizzled. Kristen landed about 4 feet away from the beast, just about out of arm's reach. The humanoid screeched. "You think you can invade MY home human?" The beast's voice sounded like metal scraping against stone. Krisen turned and, making a quick gesture, sent a cone of flame toward the monster. It howled and with one last grunt bounded off into the mist. It was dark when Kristen returned to Yinfen. He headed towards the 'Jolly Hen', a small tavern. As he pushed the door open the tavern fell silent and several people scurried out. Those who stayed eyed Krisen suspiciously. He went to the bar and ordered a drink. The tender begrudgingly agreed and a handful of coins were passed over the counter. As Krisen sipped his beer he heard someone approach. " 'Ave ya chased it away yet? Ya white 'aired *******!" Kristen turned around to see a short round man with shaggy hair and a missing ear walk towards him. The man's name was Ikar. He had hired Krisen to chase the troll north over the border into Aedirn The beast was called a troll. "I've pushed it further north and it's nearing the border into Aedirn." You see, Yinfen sat on the northeastern border of Lyria. Aedirn is the country directly north of Lyria. "If you want me to carry on you'll have to pay double. It's been hard enough getting that scum out of the forest." "I'll pay you the agreed price once the thing is gone... No more, no less." Kristen thought for a moment then, "Double... When it's over the border... Or I'll bring it right back here." After a moment of contemplation, Ikar agreed and went back to his table. The Tavern returned to its usual warmth. A minstrel began playing a Lyre and the voices of the tavern patrons returned to a low thrum. Krisen slept in the tavern that night. In the morning he went to check on his horse, Jackel. He then headed into the town and bought some bread and a slab of cheese. Once he had eaten he started the trek north it took him about 2 hours to reach the place he had last seen the troll. There was a line of tracks heading north and next to the prints was a line of blood spatters. Krisen followed the tracks for at least an hour. Eventually, he caught up with the troll. He found it lying in a clearing. Its left arm was bloody from the cut Krisen had given it the day before. Although the wound had healed over. Its skin had a slight white tint and was peeling from the burnt patches. Krisen ducked into a bush then lifted his arm and with a quick action sent a wall of invisible force toward the troll. The beast stumbled to its feet but without a visible opponent, it turned and limped away. Krisen stalked it for a while. The troll kept heading north. The monster stopped by a river and drank. It then rested. Krisen refilled his water skin at that time. The beast got to its feet and started walking along the river. It was heading west and didn't seem like it was planning on going any further north. Krisen ensured he was slightly ahead of it before casting the sign quen and dashing out of the bush. The troll growled and lumbered towards him. It swung its right arm at Krisen. It grunted as the attack glanced off a shield of force. A yellow dome shimmered around Krisen and then faded. He drew his silver longsword and swung at the troll. It hissed and backed away. Krisen cast another sign, igni this time, and sent a spiral of fire towards the creatures. The beast turned and pounded into the tree line, over the border into Aedirn.
