They had a different outfit back then, and their hair was longer- Also, since I have a master's degree in getting sidetracked (not really) I ended up making my own dang webdings translator for this in the process lol https://lingojam.com/WebdingsFont OKAY time for the good part! (the story stuff-) tl;dr Spider got sacrificed, Silk lent her power to Azure to avenge him, Nettle and Thorn kinda got what they deserved. Ya'll are gonna need to know these characters first- The blue petralyn is Azure when they were 16. The orange/yellow petra with four eyes/three tails is Spider, he's Azure's brother, and the two of them were very close. The yellow petra with the wings/halo/third eye is Silk, she's the mother of Azure and Spider, but she died awhile before ago and has been watching them as a dusthalo. The red petra with the crystal necklace is Nettle, Azure's former mentor. The tall orange guy is Thorn, he's not that important though. Petralyns within the mountain cavern had started to gradually disappear, and when Spider went missing, Azure decided to go look for him. They found him in a smaller cave, alongside a ring of tube-shaped cells with many of the missing petras (look up the curse chambers from Made In Abyss, these things are based on those). Spider was magically bound to a sort of light circle, and towards the back of the cave was Nettle, holding a fire rune. Azure called out to stop and leave Spider alone, and since Nettle was their mentor, they trusted that she'd stop, but she didn't. She struck the fire rune right as they dashed forward, and in moments, Spider was engulfed in flames, disappearing right before their eyes and leaving nothing but ashes and a page. At that moment, everything seemed to go numb as they realized that he really was gone forever, they'd never see him again, and it was because of someone they trusted (This is the part in the animation meme where their pupils disappear). Silk, who was also grieving over her son, lent her power to Azure, wanting to avenge Spider, and even though they thought it wouldn't make them any better than Nettle to hurt her, before they knew it, there was a light rod between their claws, aimed at Nettle's spark. Also, Thorn was right behind her, so they were kinda both speared. Although Azure managed to use the console to free the other petralyns and escape the mountain cavern, they were still in shock, and dwelled on it for awhile... But that part is a story for another time. I don't wanna have you guys reading forever, ehehe... I left out a lot of details 'cos otherwise it'd be really long .w. Can you tell it's 3 AM?
