The lights are dim and white, casting a dark and gloomy spell apon the area. The decoration isn’t so happy looking either. The people hand out slips of paper. One strides over to me; their clothing is dull. I grab the paper and read it. Code number: 165 Gender: female Notes: Hybrid of lizard and human. Dangerous, do not anger. I'm a little puzzled at the last part, but I'm glad to know my name! The building fills with noise and excitement as everyone gets time to meet others. Everyone looks different in some way. I approach a girl my age, maybe a bit older. She has cow legs, like a centaur of some type. "Hello" "Hi," She turns around. The girl has lovely deep brown hair and green eyes. Her dark skin has plenty of lighter patches, but her cow legs are the opposite, white with a few black and brown spots. "I'm 50." "Oh! I'm 165," I smiled. "Are you part lizard?" She asks. "Uh," I look at my shiny green tail. I can feel horns on my head and fangs in my mouth, "Yes. It says on my paper" Someone taps my shoulder, "Hi!" When I turn around, I see a young boy. His skin has a slight tan to it, his cheeks are splattered with small freckles, and his eyes are black-brown. They look welcoming and warm, like sitting by a bright fire. He has beautiful jet-black wings that sparkle, even in dim light. The boy's hair is messy, and some strands hang in his face. "I'm 441," The boy grins and looks at me. "My name is 165. Nice to meet you" We all talked until it was time to go to our rooms. I fell asleep, awaiting the events of tomorrow.
Hello and welcome back to my novel. I'm excited to say the reboot is officially here but not excited to say this will not be a weekly thing. Monthly, or twice monthly. The cover will be the same throughout the book UNLESS there is a "special" chapter or a guest artist makes a cover.
