At about 2:30 pm, Haloan soldiers encountered the first islands in the archipelago. At 3:00 pm, they storm the beaches. Shown here is the 7th Infantry squad in the 5th Infantry Division shooting enemy soldiers from a distance. The battle lasted for about 4 hours until Haloan troops were able to gain a foothold. About 22 Haloan soldiers were killed About 24 Native soldiers were killed About 13 Native civilians were killed
