The latest version of the long-running series of number abbreviators has finally been updated to version 34! This version is a complete rewrite of the abbreviation scripts from the previous versions with a few new features sprinkled in as well, resulting in a cleaner experience. Made any custom types? Go here if you'd like to share them: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/468893/ Changes between this and 33.0: ‣ The engine has been rewritten from the ground up to help make the scripts cleaner than before! In addition, this also allows the binary abbreviation functions to carry over from 32.0 without adding too much clutter. ‣ More binary types based on existing decimal types have been added. ‣ The "start abbreviation at" functionality has been updated so it's based on exponentiation instead of just powers of ten. By setting the "base" to 1 it's possible to start abbreviation at any number! ‣ You can now set the number to any number you'd like in the main screen. If the speed is set to 0, then you can choose whichever number you'd like to abbreviate without distraction. ‣ The type maker is added back to the project, and with a new interface to boot! The ability to import an existing type from its code is also available...! ‣ The mini version of the sprite also removes many of the less necessary types to make it even "smaller" ‣ The rewrite means that I'm not really sure if any bugs were fixed, but I feel pretty confident that there's less bugs here! Feb 1, 2023 update: Remove type "Simple Letters (Thousands)" from the No Space list, because the numbers appeared to be combined Feb 21, 2023 update: Fixed a small issue where abbreviating an empty input results in "-0" Mar 12, 2023 update: Fixed an EXTREMELY MAJOR bug where using the names of decimal types in the respective input will not work properly!!!!
