IMPORTANT: If you get stuck in the shop, press Z to escape In this game, you play as the world-famous shopkeeper Morshu, in his quest to accrue rubies. You have 31 days to get the maximum ruby profit. To gain rubies you must deal in lamp oil, rope and bombs. To make money, the most typical way is to buy a commodity and then sell it for a higher price than you bought it for. You must be wary of storage: You only start with 100 units, and you will always be limited by your pack size. Each commodity (except rubies) takes up 1 space. Have a lot of spare rubies you can't spend because of your pack size? Store them in the Bank. You will gain 5% interest every day. Goronu is your home base. It has the bank, gives loans, and writes a newspaper. Use these resources to your advantage. Need rubies? Take out a loan. Your credit score is the maximum you can borrow. Each time you repay your credit, you gain more credit. Your debts from loans and from the newspaper (the latter only if you don't have enough rubies on hand) increases by 10% every day. Make sure to repay them, or your debt will greatly multiply at the end of the month. Need to find out local happenings? Subscribe to the Newspaper for 5 rubies a day. You can unsubscribe at any point. The ending you get will depend on how many rubies you possess at the end of the game. Your assets will be liquidated and your debt will be quadrupled and taken from your rubies. There are 6 endings.
