Studio link: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/32786791 TLDR; Animation has been disrespected too much and we’re gonna try and save Rise through all the efforts we have. I’m organizing a studio to inform people on what to do to try and bring it back. And if you’re not a Rise fan, don’t worry. The studio is a general animated shows appreciation area and just for anyone who wants to make a difference. Join Animation Advocates!! Within the past couple weeks that I've gotten into the ROTTMNT fandom, it has come to my attention that the show went through the production underworld. Season 2 was cut in half, the creators were rushed to write the finale under a tight and unfair deadline (6 weeks or 2 months, I'm not sure which it is, but either way still ridiculously short.) And that's not even mentioning all the backlash the show received due to older fans who were just against the idea of this reboot changing things...although every reboot changes things, and people never bombarded THEM with bad reviews, trolled their fans, and created fake articles just to mess with people and give them a false sense of hope. I guess people really didn't like all the cool new ideas, representation of race, gender, neurodiversity (DONNIE AND MIKEY AUTISM AND ADHD SOLIDARITY), minor LGBTQ+, and just siblings in general, and not to mention the new breathtaking animation style that this show added to the table, huh? People hated on everything about this show, and it was mistreated by the corporate upper management, and, I don't know. This, TOH's cancellation/shortening and finale leaking, Dead End Paranormal Park's cancellation, Amphibia's finale leaking, Gravity Falls' constant battle with Disney and censorship, Infinity Train's whole DEAL of being removed from its platform in an attempt to be forgotten (Along with OK KO: Let's Be Heroes and over 20 other animated shows)... And that's just a few examples. I am tired of animation being mistreated. I am TIRED of such a beautiful art form being dumbed down to "just for kids." I am TIRED of it being called a genre, as if every animated release is the same. I'm going to fight against cancellation and corrupt corporate entities. It's done. I am NOT putting up with this anymore. And with ROTTMNT, I might have a chance to try and change it. You see, the people up top at Nickelodeon said to the creators that if the movie did well, they would renew the show. Most of the fandom came about because of the movie, and I have hope that we can save this show, and you can be a part of it, right now on Scratch. I'm going to make a studio, titled "Animation Advocates." It's going to be a place where we CELEBRATE animation, where we try and fight back against corruption. And I'm gonna start with Rise, because that's the only one we have any sort of hope with. But fortunately, there's a LOT we can do to try and save this show. So, if you're a ROTTMNT fan, someone who intends to support ROTTMNT, or just an animation fan in general, PLEASE join this studio. I am going to update everyone in the studio on all I know, kind of like the Scratch ROTTMNT messenger for all the other sites. I'm going to give you recommendations on how you alone can actually make a difference. And maybe, just maybe, this can actually do something. Save just one show in the seas of animation that’s been disrespected. We could just try, even if it doesn’t do ANYTHING…It’ll still give all of us Rise fans a little bit of closure, feeling like we're surrounded by people who feel the same way about something that's been through so much. So, let’s try. It could work, it couldn’t work…we’ll never know until we give it a shot. Do it for the turtles!!
