10 years... a whole deacde. WOW, oh wow, I can't believe it. Seriously, I can't believe a whole decade has gone by since I joined Scratch. Feels like just yesterday that I joined Scratch, even though I joined way back in 2013. I was just 9 years old when I joined, and I'm now 20! (I joined about two months before my 10th birthday). I heard about Scratch from a guy in my area that my older sister took a few summer video editing workshops from. I'm not sure about his connections, but he had some at MIT (where Scratch was started), and I heard about Scratch from him. One of his video editing students showed off a project he had made with Scratch after one of the workshops when my mom and I were picking my older sister up. I thought it looked cool and looked it up online. Joined Scratch that same day, and the rest is history. Scratch has changed a lot since I first started using it, but it's always been lots of fun. I've enjoyed being a part of the awesome Scratch community, making projects, viewing others projects, creating studios, and simply having fun. Thanks to everyone who has been a part of my time on Scratch so far! Presently I have no plans to leave Scratch and hope to make many more Scratch memories in the coming years.
