Somehow it's been almost a year since I posted last. Whoops. (space, click, arrow keys to advance) One of my New Years Resolutions this year is to draw everyday, and I'm proud to say I've been successful for an entire month. So in order to celebrate and stay somewhat active on Scratch this year, I thought every month I'd make a project to document everything that I've drawn. (I'm going to number these by day and not by slide, so if you get mixed up just read the date that's written by each drawing) 1-2 - Hands 3 - I've been experimenting with a slightly more cartoony style lately (bc I got tired of how long it takes me to draw realistic portraits) and I'm really proud of this one 4 - I got my first Pokemon game (Pokemon Ruby) back in September and somehow it took me this long to finally draw a few. This day I drew Skarmory and Aron 5 - Pikachu and Breloom, and I started working on Gyarados (who is my favorite Pokemon if you're curious) 6 - Finished Gyarados 7 - Another style experiment face. I'm not as happy with this one, I think it's because I was trying to hard to stay true to the reference photo I was using instead of simplifying it and taking creative liberties. 8 - All of Spheal's evolutions (I like the Walrein drawing the best) 9 - All of Mudkip's evolutions (one again I like the final evolution the best). I also started working on another Skarmory (I wasn't happy with the first one I drew) 10 - Finished Skarmory and did a marker illustration on the next page using a light box 11 - Two more faces, pretty happy with both of them 12 - Yet another face, this is probably my favorite of the bunch 13 - Two more faces, happy with both of them 14 - This one was really rushed bc it was late and I was just drawing it to keep my streak going, so I kinda hate it 15 - Redrew my Instagram pfp (don't bother looking for my account it's private) at a coffee shop and later started working on a Robert Pattinson Batman (who I prefer to call Battinson or PatBat. Bonus points if you know which youtuber I'm referencing). I started asking people what to draw on my Instagram story and someone said batman, which reminded me that I had really wanted to draw him after watching The Batman. 16 - Finished Batman and also finished my old sketchbook (10/7/21-1/16/23). I started my new one with some instagram suggestions: "a little goblin offering trinkets" (this guy will probably turn into an official character eventually), "a rat" (to be goblin lad's companion), "smoug" (yes that's the way they spelled it), and "something from Lord of the Rings" (so I drew Smeagol). 17 - One of my friends told me to draw Kratos (love his voice actor btw, if you've been around a while you know how much I love stargate. Go look up Christopher Judge or Teal'c if you're not familiar), and then I got a suggestion for "a little man riding a dinosaur" so I used it as an excuse to draw goblin lad and rat again. 18 - Finished dinosaur drawing, drew "ducklings" (one is angry boi), "Scroug McDuck in a pile of gold" (same person who misspelled Smaug), "a cow," and "Julian Casablancas." 19 - My friend's dog, also by Instagram suggestion. 20-21 - And so begins my Matt Murdock/Daredevil obsession. Really happy with this one. 22 - More Matt Murdock, not as happy with this one. 23 - Daredevil 24 - More Daredevil (this is one of my favorites) 25 - Even more Daredevil (I told you I was obsessed. Guess who I want to be for Halloween. Yes I plan this far in advance don't judge me) 26 - Dress girl (who is giving major Morticia Addams vibes. I haven't seen Wednesday yet don't @ me) 27-28 - You'll never guess who it is again 29 - "a penguin wearing tap shoes and a fedora" (it's giving happy feet) 30 - "a sketchers shoe" (if I were a twelve year old boy I would so rock these) 31 - Ending the month with yet another Daredevil (this time in that semi-cartoony style I'm experimenting with) Happy late New Year btw all art is by me code also by me music is Ping! by Exyl
