Talia stares out into the cityscape. Bright lights flash in front of her eyes and she sighs. She misses the sea; the soft, playful waves, the infinity of it, the deep green-blue that looks both calm and angry, happy and sad. But most of all, she misses the definitive line between the sea and the sky. In the city, lines are messy and confusing, moving up and down in no real direction. This isn’t her place. Where is she? Talia turns away from the blurry lines of the city to see a girl standing next to her. The neon sign behind the illuminates the night, and Talia sees the girl’s eyes. Soft, playful, and infinite, a deep green-blue that looks both calm and angry, happy and sad. “What’s your name? And why are you here?
