~Hey guys happy black history month! Hope all is well!~ Today i will be talking about one of the many activists martin Luther king Junior who was born on jaurary 15th 1929! Martin Luther king was a great activist who fought for civil rights. He organized a number of PEACEFUL protests. Many people loved him since he was a very strong leader and used powerful words. He got the Nobel peace prize in 1964. He was awarded the Nobel peace prize for his commitment to achieving racial justice through nonviolent action. He was also a baptist minister and he was part of the Montgomery bus boycott. (The Montgomery bus boycott was a mass protest against the unfairness in the buses. Black people had to give up their seats just so white people who were standing could sit down.) He is also very well known for the march in Washington. Sadly... he died on april 4th 1968 due to an assasination. Let's not forget this powerful leader and be grateful for all the things he accomplished and helped!!!
