ˡⁱᵃ ⁱˢ ᵏᵉʸᵇᵒᵃʳᵈ ˢᵐᵃˢʰⁱⁿᵍ . . . ✎ | hello hello! welcome to my sac art folder :) 1. a digital drawing I did late last night (around close to midnight) it was for 93 minutes 2. traditional drawing done this afternoon- 51 minutes. I don't really like it tbh 3. Daily for Feb 2: Draw a female athlete. I picked Kamila Valieva, a Russian figure skater. I think she's really talented (but i've got no experience figure skating- i just have much respect for people who can do it) it's really, really messy and I definitely aged her a few years... I did it in 84 minutes 4. Daily for Feb 3: Draw a cover for your favorite book. Okay so it's not my favorite book but I don't really have a favorite book so I just went with this one- it's a short story I wrote for the SWC a few sessions ago and it's called 'the captive author.' (don't question why she's writing on the paper upside down, or the tacky stone wall background) this took 120 minutes :') 5. Weekendly Feb 4-5: find a partner that you’ve never talked to before, work together to describe a character. try to only choose a few basic elements for your character’s design. I partnered with @creativethouqts (super nice person btw) and this is the description we came up with: - short hair - comes from a super rich and famous family - dark academia aesthetic - very tall (lol this one was so random) - heterochromia I don't think much about her screams 'rich' - except maybe the sunglasses and the ridiculously tiny *designer* bag that would hold virtually nothing bigger than a chapstick. Heck I don't even think her sunglasses would fit in there xD anyway I named her Sofie Anastasia because that sounds sophisticated-ish. (She just goes by her first and middle name because she's cool B) She's naturally very pretty and her unique eyes helped her get her first modeling gig at the age of 3 and a half. She is 5' 11", 18 years old, enrolled at a prestigious billionaire children exclusive college, and is the daughter of billionaire entrepreneurs Daniel and Fiona Skatcherkemp. (Skah-char-kamp) (lol see what i did there...) this took 134 minutes 6. Daily for Feb 6: enter the memory book cover contest! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/799483306/ <- the actual entry project. This took 234 minutes. This is why i dont enter design contests. *no further comments* 7. Art trade w/ for my bingo card :) 88 minutes. 8. Daily for Feb 8: Draw a character inspired by an ekment in the periodic table. So. As you can observe-, the quality in this piece is greatly lacking. I threw this together in 20 minutes because I've had a stressful day, it's past my bedtime, and I was running short on time :) I did gold if you couldn't tell- tried to scrap together some gold armor (which is really bad in minecraft xD) 9. Daily for Feb 9: Draw cover art for your favorite song. So this technically isn't my favorite song but it's up there, it's called flowers need rain and this daily supports the fact that I cannot draw anything other than people :) it took 35 minutes because yall Idk how to draw flowers- literally it was like blind contouring and then slapping color onto it by eyeballing the reference 10. Photo study that took 70 minutes. I was going to color it but I was too lazy and I had a lot of homework to do 11. Ummm yeah. I drew this in science class, not for science class just in science class... the hair is the best part. It took an hour (60 min) because she originally looked like the opposite of Megamind for a hot minute lol 12. Daily for Feb 9: Draw a winter beverage inspired character. I chose hot chocolate because it's my favorite winter drink :) took 60 minutes 13. Comfort drawing xD the proportions are way off but I just wanted to get my mind off things and draw :) it took 60 minutes - probably would've taken longer if I hadn't used the symmetry tool lol 14. For my bingo card; camper art of -springskies, 48 minutes 15. Weekendly Feb 18-19: Draw a bridge upon your self identity aeeeeeee it's been ten days I'm sosososorry- I went skiing last Monday and had a little accident so :] anyway this took 75 minutes and most of it was spent drawing the water, which isn't even that in focus but yeah. 16. Comfort drawing :) 152 minutes (p.s it looks like a floating head but her shirt and hair are just black so thats that. i *muchly* stylized myself but no i dont actually look this pretty irl :') also i dont wear eyeshadow but I was inspired by kpop things and thought it looked cool ) 17. Daily for February 20: Draw something using an unfamiliar medium. I did oil painting. It was a hot mess. It was really sticky and draggy and thick and it stank so badly it was honestly the worst thing I've smelled all week. It was and looks like a hot mess xD despite the smudge result, it took a stupidly long amount of time because it was so difficult to figure out how to use : 210 minutes- I took 4 intermissions because if I hadn't I would have broken my table :) (also it was a nightmare cleaning up)
18. Daily for February 21: Draw this in your style- I drew #6 https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/700408195 in 50 min 19. Daily for February 22: Draw a new constellation- I mean who wouldn't want to see a random face staring down at you from the night sky? 105 minutes- mostly from the base which i turned down to like 60 percent opacity so you can't really see it but anyway 20. This was originally going to be my art contest entry but I decided I wasn't going to enter it. I really like how the face rendering turned out but I was having so much trouble with the hair since the character's hair was such an unconventional color; it just looks better in a more cartoony style, which I'm working on right now. So I just changed the hair color ( and if you look closely you can probably see the original color lol ) 145 minutes ee 21. Art contest entry fullbody- 160 min 22. Art contest entry- 220 minutes 23. Daily for February 23: Draw yourself at your lodge! Draw yourself (or a persona or oc) in the setting where your lodge story takes place. Lol I look so sketch but also tired. I'm on the SAC Digital Metro tracking down Digital City's notorious crime boss and trying to lay low (I say in a suit and tie lol ). This took 75 minutes :) I slapped on like ten different filters to try and hide my horrendous background art, but it didn't do much :] but the concept itself is cool, imo 24. Uhm this was a wip I forgot about- it was my failed attempt at speed running the second weekendly - 15 minutes. 25. Daily for Feb 25: Use the random aesthetic generator and draw a picture based entirely off of the first result you get- I got cafecore and went for a pretty similar pallete to the project example. I just got a wider range of colors from pinterest. The rendering on the girl is lacking but if you look at it from really far away (like so far that you can't even see it /j) it's overall pretty decent. It took 252 minutes, most of which was spent struggling on the non-human related things. I don't know why I do this to myself but it was kind of fun drawing stuff out of my comfort zone. And the rendering on the first chair doesn't look awful. (P.s the abstract art paintings are by an anonymous artist L. O. Fluffleblub ) 26. Weekendly for Feb 25-26: iconic last weekendly lodge collab- I drew a totally unsuspicous looking digital metro agent B) exactly 60 minutes B)))
