I'm actually really, really proud of this. Coming up with all of the different parts was really fun, too! (ecspeically the steel pan part and all of it's little embelishments). There are couple parts that didn't sound right because of the way the synthesizer worked (ex- the ringing in the first few chords, bad intonation in the glockenspiel part) I was planning to make the ending longer, but I just quite honestly didn't feel like working on this anymore. I might in the future, but for now it's just a C Major chord. Overall though, I managed to write a whole song from scratch (no pun intended) that turned out to be longer then 3 minutes and in my opinion sounds really pretty, so yay for me! I do hope to give this song lyrics sometime, but for now, it remains purely instrumental. Even if i did come up with lyrics, I'm not a good singer and the only available in browser vocaloid-adjacent website I know about only allows you to input Japanese lyrics. I can piece together some Japanese sentences and write simple haikus, but I don't know nearly enough about the language to write a whole song. Not important, but I'm almost certain all of the notes in the oboe part are within the instrument's range, so even though I don't have any sheet music, it should be perfectly possible to play. I had a title in mind a while ago, but I decided it wasn't very good, so I'm open to suggestions. It feels weird to just call it "original song" lol Despite it's lack of lyrics, I still hope you enjoy this little project of mine!!! :DD!!
