Thingy. Maybe I should do a series? I dunno! ╔═════════════ ∘◦ ✾ ◦∘ ══════════════╗ ☾ Steps Extra Information ☽ ╚═════════════ ∘◦ ❈ ◦∘ ══════════════╝ 1) Draw a Circle. The circle can be any shape you'd like. Your cat's head depends on the shape of this circle. If you want a taller or skinnier head, make and tall oval shape. For a chubbier or fluffier head, make a short and wide circle. 2) Draw a smaller circle inside the head for the muzzle. Like the head, the muzzle depends on the shape of your circle. The top of the muzzle should somewhat look like a rounded upside down heart. For the chin, make a 'U' shape from one side of the muzzle to the other. 3) For ear shape, triangles are the main shape you'd use. Tall triangles for taller ears, rounder or shorter triangles for shorter. For folded ears, you mainly use circles and semi-circles and sometimes even square like shapes. 4) Shading is easy but some can find it hard on how much they should shade, and the best places to shade it. (I will probably make a project about it) Shading is just shadows. Where ever the light is hitting the object, the Shadow is on the opposite side. Ex: Flash light is shining on the left side of a ball. That means the right side would be darker and in the shadows. For drawing something head on, it depends where your light source is. If you don't particularly have a light source and you still want to shade spots that I recommend are under the chin/top of neck, inside ears, tops of eyes, and folded spots. 5) Eyes are a key factor to showing emotion in art. The size and direction of the eyes and dilation of the pupils really brings your art to life. For the basic eye, two what ever sized almond shaped circles (Your choice) sit right above the top of the muzzle. From there you add lashes (Optional) the iris and the pupils. I personally like to give pupils color instead of being black, but it kind of depends on my mood ^^ If you want to show expression, the pupils dilation is key. Small and slitted pupils can show fear, anger, surprise, ect. Larger pupils can show love, happiness, sadness and other. 6) The 'T' shaped guide line is a "tool" I use when drawing. I use it because I find it easier on where to position the facial features like where the eyes need to go, or how far apart is this from that. It simply is just a cross smack down on the face. Sometimes I will add an extra line to show eye height, but that's usually for emotions. The top of the horizontal line is where the eyes usually go, and everything (Nose, mouth, jaw) goes below it. It is just a helpful tool for organization :) ═════════════ ∘◦ ❈ ◦∘ ══════════════ Credits Art and Coding- (Me) Music- Affection by Jinsang Questions or confusion?
