[edit: THIS IS PART 7! I mis typed the title so sorry if it shows up at part 8 :"] I had a little bit of writer's block with this part of the fanfiction :") enjoy! -- Piano Keys & a Mask Part seven (Adrien’s POV) “Yo, Adrien, over here!" Turning at the voice of his best friend, Adrien adjusted his bag that was slung over his shoulder and waved at Nino who was sitting on a bench under a cluster of large trees. "Hey, man," the blonde said as his friend clapped him on the back with a bright smile. "Are Alya and Marinette still coming?" Adrien asked, setting his bag down on the grass and sitting next to Nino on the bench. Nino nodded and replied, "Yeah - Alya texted me. They're nearly here. But while we wait…" Nino scooted closer to Adrien with a grin. "Are you gonna tell them about your new thing?" "Thing?" Nino raised his eyebrow. "You know! Your whole," he waved his hands around, "Chat Noir thing?" Shrugging, Adrien smiled. "Soon. For now though, could you just keep it between us two?" Nino punched his shoulder affectionately. "You got it, my dude! My lips are sealed." He mimed zipping his lips and Adrien laughed. "Nino!" Adrien glanced up to see Alya walking into the park with a red faced girl, her raven hair pulled back into a braid, walking next to her. That must be Marinette, Adrien noted in his head. The girl looked nervous, though from what he had heard from Nino, Adrien assumed that it was just because she was meeting someone new for the first time. Despite the fact the Marinette had made the sequined mask he wore to KTM (though, she didn’t know that it was Adrien who had ordered it), Adrien hadn’t met the well-known teenage designer and was fairly excited to meet her today. He had wanted to meet Marinette for a while because of how highly his friends had spoken of her, but according to Alya, Marinette had a busy schedule, filled with school, helping out at her parent’s bakery, as well as her part time job - designing and making clothes and accessories for people. “Hey, Adrien,” Alya said warmly and Adrien smiled. “Hi, Alya! And you must be Marinette?” He greeted the dark haired girl and Marinette’s face turned a shade darker. “Uh- yep!” She blurted out. “That’s me!” Marinette winced, then seeming to calm herself down with a deep breath, she sat down on the grass next to the bench and smiled at Adrien. “Nice to meet you, Adrien.” -- First. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/437284899 Prev.
